Every figure below is a real published MedMatch price converted at CA$1.37 to the U.S. dollar, so it will drift a little with the exchange rate. The treatment column is what the clinic charges and is paid directly to the clinic. The all-in column adds your hotel nights, VIP airport transfers, your personal host, and our flat $300 Patient Care & Coordination Fee.

What the same work costs in Canada

Canadian provincial fee guides put implant placement in the CA$1,900–CA$2,500 band, the abutment around CA$700, and the crown between CA$1,600 and CA$2,200. Specialists routinely charge above guide. That lands a single restored implant somewhere between CA$4,000 and CA$8,000, and the wider spread is mostly which implant system your surgeon uses and whether you need a graft.

Full-arch work is where the gap stops being a discount and starts being a different order of magnitude. All-on-4 for one arch is commonly quoted at CA$25,000 to CA$35,000 in Canada; both arches routinely passes CA$50,000. Provincial health plans do not cover any of it, and most private plans cap dental benefits at CA$1,500–CA$2,500 a year, which does not move the number meaningfully.

Add the flights — twice

Implants are not a one-trip treatment. The fixture has to fuse with the jawbone before it can carry a crown, which takes eight to ten weeks and happens at home, not in a hotel. So budget two return flights, not one.

From Toronto or Montreal, a return flight to Istanbul or Antalya typically runs CA$1,070 to CA$1,650; from Vancouver or Calgary, CA$1,340 to CA$1,990. Doubled, that is roughly CA$2,100–CA$4,000 on top of the treatment.

Will my Canadian plan cover any of it?

Usually not, and you should assume not. Provincial health plans do not fund implants at home or abroad. Some private group plans will reimburse a portion of out-of-country dental work at their own fee-guide rate, but the majority of Canadian patients who travel are paying out of pocket by choice — the annual cap has already been exhausted or the treatment was never eligible.

Two things are worth doing before you travel, and both are free: ask your plan administrator in writing whether out-of-country dental claims are eligible, and ask us for an itemised invoice with procedure codes. If your plan does reimburse, it will want the codes.

What our price does not include

Said plainly, because this is where cheap quotes go wrong. Our all-in figure covers treatment, your hotel nights, airport and clinic transfers, a personal host, and coordination. It does not cover:

• International flights, on either trip.
• Bone grafting or a sinus lift, if your scan shows you need one — these are quoted after your x-rays are reviewed, not guessed at beforehand.
• Food and anything you spend outside the clinic and hotel.
• A companion's flight or their share of the room, if you bring someone.

If your scan does show a graft, you will get the revised number in writing before you book anything — not on arrival. A quote that changes at the clinic door is the single most common complaint in this industry, and it is entirely avoidable.

Honestly, usually not. Add roughly CA$2,100 of flights across two trips and a single implant saves a few hundred to a couple of thousand dollars. From about three implants up, or any full-arch case, the gap becomes large enough to carry the travel comfortably.

Are the implants used in Turkey the same brands as in Canada?+

At a properly vetted clinic, yes — Straumann, Nobel Biocare, BEGO and Osstem are all placed in Türkiye and all are serviceable by a Canadian dentist. Ask for the brand in writing before you pay. A quote that will not name the system is a quote to walk away from.

What if I need a bone graft?+

It is quoted separately once your CBCT scan has been reviewed, typically around $350 per site for a graft and $700 for a sinus lift, against roughly $700 and $1,900 in Canada. You get the revised total in writing before booking, never on arrival.

Do I pay MedMatch or the clinic?+
