What an All-Inclusive Package in Türkiye Includes — and What It Doesn't

What is included

Every dental and knee package we quote is genuinely all-inclusive on these items, and they are written into the quote before you pay anything:

• The treatment itself — surgery, materials, laboratory work and the named implant or prosthetic system.
• Pre-treatment imaging — panoramic x-ray and CBCT where the plan requires it.
• Hotel accommodation for the stated number of nights, breakfast included.
• VIP airport transfers in both directions, plus every transfer between hotel and clinic.
• A personal host who speaks English and is with you for appointments.
• Post-operative medication prescribed as part of the treatment.
• Follow-up coordination once you are home, including scheduled video check-ins.
• Our flat $300 Patient Care & Coordination Fee — the same amount regardless of treatment size.

What is not included — the list most sites leave out

This is the more useful list, and the reason patients get an unpleasant surprise elsewhere.

• International flights. Never included, in any package we quote. Budget $750–$1,400 return from North America — and twice that for implants, which need two trips.
• Bone grafting and sinus lifts. Quoted separately once your scan is read. Common, and a very frequent source of on-arrival price rises elsewhere.
• Sedation or general anaesthesia where you choose it rather than need it — around $550.
• Food and personal spending. Breakfast comes with the hotel; every other meal is yours.
• Extra hotel nights beyond the package, if you want to stay on.
• A companion's flight and their share of the room, where the room rate changes.
• Travel and medical cover. MedMatch does not provide or arrange this — if you want cover for the trip, you arrange it yourself, and you should check whether your policy excludes planned treatment abroad.
• Excursions and sightseeing. Genuinely optional, and not bundled into anything we quote.

The two treatments that work differently

Not everything we offer is a package, and describing them all the same way would be misleading.

• Dental and knee treatment are true all-inclusive packages: hotel, transfers, host and aftercare are inside the price.
• Rhinoplasty and hair transplants are quoted at the partner hospital's own fixed list price — €3,000 for primary rhinoplasty and €2,500 for FUE — paid directly to the hospital, plus our flat $300 fee. Hotel is included only where the hospital's own price states it. The FUE hair package does include hotel; the rhinoplasty list price does not.

Why clinics quote low and charge more on arrival

Because the low number wins the enquiry, and by the time the real number appears you have already flown. The mechanism is almost always one of four things:

1. The scan reveals grafting. Legitimate in itself — but a clinic that quotes without asking for an x-ray knows perfectly well this is coming.
2. The implant brand is switched upward. "We recommend the premium system for your case," quoted on the day.
3. Units are added. The 20-unit quote becomes 24 units once you are in the chair.
4. The package excludes something you assumed was in it — the second trip, the crowns, the abutments.

The defence costs nothing: send your x-ray before you get a quote, insist the quote names the brand and the unit count, and ask in writing what would make this number change. Any clinic that answers those three clearly is unlikely to surprise you.

How to compare two packages honestly

Package prices are hard to compare because they bundle different things. Reduce both quotes to the same four numbers before deciding:

1. Treatment cost, with the brand and unit count named.
2. Everything the clinic will charge on top — grafting, sedation, imaging, abutments.
3. Your own travel: flights, multiplied by the number of trips.
4. Any agency or coordination fee, stated as a dollar figure rather than a percentage.

If a competing quote cannot be reduced to those four numbers because the agency will not disclose its cut, that is itself the answer.
